Join Signal with IMOY
Facebook has recently discontinued the old “Community Chat” feature. They’re trialing a new version within Messenger, but it’s not yet available to everyone. That means only a few people can access it, and we never want anyone to feel left out or less secure.
We’ve always prioritised privacy and safety in our spaces. After testing a few alternatives (including WhatsApp Communities, which unfortunately doesn’t allow hiding your phone number), we’ve found a much better option.
We’ve moved our group chats to Signal.
Signal is secure, privacy-focused, and lets you hide your phone number by using a username instead. You’ll find step-by-step instructions below to help you get set up comfortably and confidently.
The main IMOY Facebook group will stay active for updates, event announcements, shared resources and more
We know downloading a new app can feel like a big shift, but we truly believe this is the best way to stay connected while protecting your privacy.
